The facilities at the
FFR
are exceptional. Whether you are staying at the Main Lodge with its
beautiful great room and porches, in the Whitetail room at the Creekside
Cabin with a well-stocked creek outside the front door, or in the
bunkhouse with your friends, you will feel at home at the
FFR.
To help you plan your stay – below are some specifics on our sleeping
and meeting accommodations:
The Lodge
 Now, you may hear us refer affectionately to the
Lodge as “the barn.” That’s because at one point -- it was. Converted
a few years ago to be the main center of the ranch, our “barn” is now
anything but! The barn, er, Lodge now contains a beautiful Great Room,
seven (7) guest rooms, and a game room.
The Lodge Great Room provides a general common area
for your gathering. The walls of this room are decorated with mounts of
some of the native and exotic animals you will see on the ranch.
Overhead hangs a chandelier made of antlers. Our dry stacked, stone,
fireplace is a perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a good book.
You can also catch a sporting event on the big screen TV. The Lodge is
fronted with a large wrap around porch ideal for watching the sunset
over the Texas Hill Country. Also, this room is large enough to serve as
a meeting room for up to 25 persons.
 The Lodge Game room contains a pool table, an air
hockey table, boxed games, playing cards, dominoes and satellite TV with
V.C.R. for your enjoyment. This room is large enough to use as an
intimate meeting room for 15-20 persons.
The Main Lodge has seven (7) guest rooms – four upstairs and three downstairs. The four upstairs bedrooms each have private baths. Common Bathrooms, including one ADA bath are in close proximity to the three downstairs rooms. These rooms vary in size and configuration. Please view Room Configurations to get more information. All Lodge guest rooms offer
convenient access to the game room, Main Lodge amenities and a pot of hot coffee in the morning!

Creekside
Cabin
Just across the creek from the Main Lodge, tucked
in among the oaks and overlooking the creek, is our Creekside Cabin.
You will love to call this seven-bedroom cabin home. Each room features
two queen-size beds and a private bath. Each is decorated uniquely.
You may
 stay in the white-tailed, axis, fallow, star, loaves & fishes,
horses, or red deer rooms, whichever you like. The Cabin also contains
a common room with a kitchenette and multiple sitting areas for
visiting, playing cards or small group meetings.
Each room has an
additional vanity for those groups that may need to sleep 3-4 in these
rooms. One room is A.D.A. compliant. In addition, stretched all the
way across the front of the Creekside Cabin is a covered rock porch that
overlooks the creek. We are confident you will love to stay in this
peaceful and comfortable setting. View Room Configurations.
The
Bunkhouse
Don’t let the name fool you. We have converted our bunkhouse space to create four additional private rooms with queen or full side beds in each room. Two of these rooms also have bunk beds that make them ideal for families of 4 or 5. Bathrooms are adjacent to each of these rooms. The bunkhouse has a common room with a kitchenette and a sitting area. Two rooms may be converted back to bunk style bedding if
desired. Please specify this at the time of booking your reservation.
