Welcome to the Franklin Family Ranch – over 2000 acres of beautiful Texas Hill Country located between San Antonio and Austin. The FFR is a Texas Hill Country Ranch that offers fantastic accommodations, great hospitality and unique outdoor opportunities for our guests. We have accommodations and facilities appropriate for retreats for many different groups including families, couples, men’s, women’s, youth and staff retreats as well as single day special events. Just a few of the outdoor opportunities that exist at the FFR include viewing both native and exotic wildlife (15 species), fishing, clay target shooting, going on a fossil dig or taking a hike through the hill country. Whether your group just wants to see the trees & hear the birds between meetings or wants to experience the hill country up close & personal you can do it all at the FFR.
 
Family Service – The FFR is owned and operated by family. We take great pride in offering our personal service to your group during your stay. Whether its providing tours, being a fishing guide or cooking meals - our family will be serving yours during your stay at the FFR.
 
Exclusive Use – Each group has exclusive use of the ranch. No scheduling conflicts with other groups, no worries about distractions. How you want to schedule your days, how you want to use the facilities and what activities you want to plan is solely between you and the ranch.
 
Conveniently Located – The FFR is located 10 miles east of Blanco, TX, conveniently located between San Antonio and Austin – only 45 minutes from either city.
 
Exceptional Facilities & Accommodations – The facilities at the FFR are exceptional. Whether you are staying at the Main Lodge with its beautiful great room and porches, in the Whitetail room at the Creekside Cabin with a well-stocked creek outside the front door, or in the bunkhouse with your friends, you will feel at home at the FFR. Main Lodge
  • Beautifully decorated great room with picture windows, stone fireplace, antler chandelier and wrap around porch
  • Game room with pool table, air hockey & satellite TV
  • Seven bedrooms total with four having private baths
Creekside Cabin
  • Beautifully decorated rooms, Common room for gathering
  • Front porch overlooking the creek
  • Seven bedrooms with private baths (2 Queen beds in each room)
Bunkhouse
  • 4 bedrooms (2 rms – 1 full each, 1 rm – 1 Queen & 4 twins, 1 rm – 1 Queen & 2 twins)
  • 4 baths within the bunkhouse
  • Common room for gathering
  • Front porch overlooking the creek
  • Additional bunks can be added

 
Meeting Facility
  • Heritage Hall accommodates up to 105 with round table configuration and up to 200 with congregation style seating
  • Full audio visual equipment to support church style service with worship team or presentation style business meeting
  • Can be divided into 2 separate rooms
  • Main Lodge great room & game room can be used for breakout rooms which hold up to 25 and 20 each, respectively

Full commercial kitchen and facility to accommodate cafeteria or buffet style dining

Minimums - While we do not have a rigid minimum requirement – we strive to achieve a group size of at least 20 adults for weekend stays and at least 10 adults for midweek stays.
